,מיט גילדענע רוקנס פון זילבער חזירים
,גאַנצע טאַבונעס מיט גילדענע פערד
— גילדענע זשאַבעס און טכוירים
.אַלע פאָלגן דעם אײנציקן גילדענעם שװערד
דעם שװערד האַלט די זון אין איר גילדערנער האַנט
,און אין דער אַנדערער שײנען צװײ לייצעס מיט פרענז
זי פאָרט שטיל אַראָפּ פון אַ פּורפּורנער װאַנט
.אויף גילדענע שװאַנען און גענז

Mit gildene Rukns fun zilber Khazeyrim,
Gantse Tabunes mit gildene Ferd,
Gildene Zhabes un Tkhoyrim —
Ale folgn dem eyntsikn gildenem Shverd.
Dem Shverd halt di Zun in ir gilderner Hant
Un in der Anderer shaynen tsvey Leytses mit Frenz,
Zi fort shtil arop fun a purpurner Vant
Oyf gildene Shvanen un Genz.
Sunset
With golden backs of silver pigs,
whole herds with golden horses,
golden frogs and skunks —
All follow the single golden sword.
The sword is held by the sun in its golden hand
and in the other shine two reins with fringes,
it rides quietly down from a purple wall
on golden swans and geese.
