The symbolic animals restrain themselves — the lion holds his roar, leopard his leap, eagle folds wings, deer stops running. King David's instruments are silent — harps don't play, cymbals don't chime, drums don't drum. 'A tall spacious stable for all horses of all marching victors: for rest and for sleep.' Section TZ: 'He escaped — the younger brother.' He ran and arrived at a hillock behind the town. He blesses the Father in Heaven who hid the stars and moon, not sending them to shine that night, hiding from lurking eyes 'the swift steps of the fugitive.' Tired, breathless, he stretches out on the hill, and with eyes raised to heaven, blesses the unshone stars and moon. 'And blessing he spoke thus:' — introducing the prayer/poem of the next section.
